Thank you for giving us all loving homes and for our families, friends, pets that support and care for us.

Class Routines
Our PE day is on a Thursday afternoon. The PE kit is white t-shirt, navy blue shorts and pumps. The girls can wear plain black leggings under their shorts if they wish.
From September until February, on a Monday afternoon, we go swimming at Keighley Leisure Centre. The children will need their swimming costume and a towel.
Maths homework is given every day during the week (Monday to Thursday). The children have 6 Arithmetic questions to answer each evening. These questions are covered in class first thing in the morning. This is so the children have time to ask one of the adults in class for help during the day if they need it. We do an Arithmetic test every Friday morning to help prepare the children for SATs in May.
Spelling homework is given every day during the week (Monday to Thursday). The children have 10 words to learn each week which they have to copy three times every night. We have a spelling test every Friday afternoon.
The children have to read to an adult for 15 minutes three times a week and have their reading record signed. They can read anything they like such as: books, annuals, comics, newspapers, instruction manuals- not just their reading book. We ask that parents/carers question their child about what they have read to make sure they have understood it. Reading records are collected in on a Tuesday morning.
Booster Sessions
From September until May, every Monday we hold a Maths booster session after school from 3:30pm-4:30pm which focuses on Arithmetic.
From January to May, before school on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning, we hold a Grammar and Punctuation booster session which starts at 8am.
If your child is invited to attend these sessions please try to get them to come as they will really help with their preparation for the SATs tests in May.
