 Important information about Year 5

  • Please read with your child as often as possible, as regular practice helps build confidence and fluency. After reading, please sign your child’s reading record and add a brief comment.
  • Our swimming day is Monday.  Please ensure your child brings their swimming kit on their allocated swimming day. Regular attendance helps children build confidence in the water and develop important swimming skills.
  • Homework will be given out to children on a weekly basis. Please encourage your child to complete their homework each week and hand it in on time. Regular practice helps to reinforce learning in class and develop independence and responsibility.
  • Children should bring a water bottle to school each day.
  • On Friday there is a school raffle and tuck shop. Items are 50p to £1 each.
